Episode review: episode 7 " Parental Glideance"

So I'm listening to music from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Equestria Girls on the Youtube Roku app and in the suggestions I see a stream for Parental Glideance, so because of the poll I released voting for watching the streams, I decided to watch it.

The episode starts with Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom pulling a big rubber band (at least that's what I'm going to call it) while telling Scootaloo that there are easier ways to get to Cloudsdale than a giant rubber band. Right as Scootaloo is getting second thoughts, the stake holding the rubber band snaps and she rides her scooter to a giant ramp and jumps from the ramp all the way to Cloudsdale. Then while Scootaloo has her literal head stuck in a cloud, Rainbow Dash's father Bow Hothoof arrives to ask Scootaloo if she's alright. After Scootaloo finds out that Bow Hothoof is Rainbow Dash's father, she immediately screams with excitement.

After the theme song, Windy Whistles, Rainbow Dash's mother, comes out to see what's going on. After Scootaloo sees Rainbow Dash's mother, she screams some more. After Wind Whistles calms Scootaloo down, she then proceeds to show Scootaloo some "Dashmentos" for her school report about Rainbow Dash, her inspiration. While Rainbow Dash's parents are showing Scootaloo some more Dashmentos, they learn for the first time that Rainbow Dash made it into the Wonderbolts. Rainbow Dash's parents and Scootaloo then proceed to go to a Wonderbolts practice, where they cheer so loud that it causes problems for the Wonderbolts. Rainbow Dash then learns that Scootaloo told her parents that she was a Wonderbolt and that sets up the rest of the episode.

So the thing with this episode was that there isn't really anything for me to talk about, but I do have a few things to say.

First of all, if you know what I think about Rainbow Dash, you would know that it's not positive at all, but with this episode, it made her less annoying until she went insane on her parents. Rainbow Dash going crazy on her parents was the only thing that didn't quite push it to a 10 out of 10.

I tried to ask some people on Twitter whether Bow Hothoof and Windy Whistles were annoying or not without spoiling the episode, but I got no response from anyone at all so this was a complete surprise to me. I honestly thought that if Rainbow Dash was annoying, her parents would be as well but I was wrong, they were less annoying than Rainbow herself.

Like I said, there wasn't much to talk about in this episode, but the rating? 9/10. The only thing that would've made this episode a 10 out of 10 was a tamer Rainbow Dash on her parents.

So before I leave as always I need to give you a season overview so far.
