Episode review: episode 20 "Health of Information"

So after last weekends episode, I've been waiting for an episode that's good, as the last episode I didn't bash to shreds was Campfire Tales. This episode was it.

The episode starts with Zecora hanging on a tree with her tail trying to get some moss for her animal sanctuary when she falls into the water. As she's swimming through the water, a flower releases a poisonous gas and makes her sick.

After the poisonous flower makes Zecora sick, it is revealed that she has Swamp Fever and that, if left uncured, she could turn into the tree that produces the flowers that spread the illness. It's also revealed that there's no cure.

So, feeling bad that she got her friend severely ill, Fluttershy decides that she needs to try and find a legendary pony that was able to cure every illness, which leads to a long and interesting series of events.

So with that out of the way, it's time to get into my review of the episode!

The first thing I really liked was that we got to see Zecora actually play a bigger role than usual in this episode and, though I would've liked to see more of her, I was quite fond of how they did squeezed a spot for her.

Another thing I quite enjoyed was the fact that Fluttershy was willing to do anything she could to help her friend feel better. I can really appreciate that and the inclusion of the moral along with that felt really genuine and well done. If every episodes moral could be done like that, I'd really enjoy it.

Along with all of that, the solution to the problem was really clever and I quite enjoyed that and it was done in a somewhat interesting way. Who would've ever thought that it happened to have the same markings as the queen bee? I wonder if that's why the healers mask looks the way it does, because of the bees.

To add to the crazy amount of positivity, the legend was really interesting and I love that they didn't show how Meadowbrook got the honey. That removed the problem that I had for Daring Done entirely! It's like someone was listening to my complaints...

I would also like to point out, before the one negative, that the character building this season has been amazing! It hasn't just been interesting how they've been doing it, they've also been changing characters in ways that seem realistic, unlike most shows I've watched.

Now for my one negative that I have for this episode: the fact that Fluttershy got sick herself was a little predictable, but not so predictable that it ruined everything after that point, unlike Daring Done. That's literally every single negative part about this episode, unless you count the fact that the punchline was so bad that I didn't even notice it.

So I bet you're wondering what my rating's going to be. Well I can tell you that I enjoyed this episode so much that I'm giving it a 9/10! There wasn't much wrong with this episode and it was done truly well instead of jjust well.

I hope you enjoyed my lengthy and positive review of "Health of Information" and I hope you stay Brony my friends! As always, my past ratings will be below.
