Episode review: episode 11 "Not Asking for Trouble"

So we're already half way through Season 7 and we have what will be the last episode review for a LONG time to come. I guess we better make it count!

The episode starts with Pinkie Pie screaming "Oh my gosh!" for an entire minute. After she finishes that part, Pinkie then tells Twilight that she got an invitation to Yickslurbertfest. Well let's just say that's the first time I've had to look up the spelling for a word during a review ever!

Anyway, after the theme song ends, Pinkie Pie rides the hot air balloon (which people were excited to see) to Yakyakistan to go to Yickslurbertfest. Once she arrives at that festival, she learns that the entire festival is about stomping stuff (who didn't see that coming) and telling stories.

Right as Prince Rutherford was warming up (pun intended) to Pinkie Pie, an avalanche hits the village and wipes out everything but when Pinkie Pie tries to go get help, the Yaks refuse.

Welp, that was literally everything that set up the plot. Yup, that's the last episode set up thingy, as I'm going to call it, of the first half of MLP season 7. Let's get to the review!

There isn't much to say except for a few things, which I shall explain below. Read on!

First off, the episode as a whole was only good because of the fact that it had some dull parts that I didn't particularly like for example, the story with Prince Rutherford in a hole, although that inaudible for me. There were a few other very minor things that I won't talk about that weren't the best, but didn't bother me enough to affect my opinion of this episode as a whole.

Although the last thing only talks about a negative thing, the next few things are all positive!

There was more than one time that Pinkie Pie saved this episode from getting a rating lower than a five because of her great lines, which there aren't many characters that can make a 4/10 episode a 7/10 episode. Well Pinkie Pie is one of those characters! But there's still a few more positive factors to talk about!

Among the good things in the episode was the fact that Pinkie Pie made almost every scene she was in pretty funny and amusing. Also known as the reason people really like Pinkie Pie!

The last thing that I would like to talk about before the official rating is that Applejack had a pretty good moment at the end that I don't want to spoil for anyone who hasn't watched this episode!

So I've been talking about a few different ratings for this episode, but it's time to give the official rating of this episode. Drumroll please!

I rate this episode a 6/10!

Yes, a 6/10 for the episode with the return of the Yaks!

So that's this short episode review for a very... Interesting episode. I hope you enjoyed and, as always, I have the ratings for every episode of the first half of My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic season 7  and the average for this season so far below! Also before I go, I want to let you know that there will be reviews of the Equestria Girls specials mixed in with the 'Movie Reviews' tab under 'Other Reviews' when they com out in the U.S., so I will be back soon! So with all that being said I have to say one thing: stay Brony my friends!
